"The
Capital"
was created in 1979 by Laszlo Tar. This is a rare and unique
piece for Laszlo Tar. He visited  Washington
D.C. once with his older son and family, touring the many
monuments and museums. He brought is easel along and this
piece is the only work created during that visit. It is
a perfect view of the western entrance of the United States
Capitol complex. A truly beautiful work of art.

original is a watercolor & goauche on paper and the
print captures the beauty of that medium in perfect detail.
The print is a Giclée
produced on Eclipse (150lb), 100% cotton rag paper using
fine pigment inks. Just 90 signed and numbered prints
(and 10 Artist Proofs) exist of this beautiful work of
art!
