About this Work of Art ~
"Central
Park Fall"
was created by Laszlo Tar in 1964. This is a wonderful
work depicting a fall day in Central Park. The view is
from near the Metropolitan Museum of Art, looking south.
In the distance is the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings,
and in the fore are people (and pets) just enjoying all
that Central Park has to offer - and look at those beautiful
fall trees. Laszlo Tar lived with his family in uptown
Manhattan from about 1960 to 1968. He would visit Central
Park often to complete his beautiful paintings and drawings.
Over 40 years ago he created this perfectly timeless painting.
The
original is a watercolor and the print is an exact color
replica. Each print is carefully signed and numbered by
the artist, just for you.
