About this Work of Art ~
"The
Waiting"
was created in 1971 by Laszlo Tar. Quite a beautiful work. Just
outside Central Park and right in front of the Plaza Hotel, stands
a man with his spotted horse tied to a romantic carriage. Waiting,
waiting for his next customer. The pigeons feed on the morsals
left by the horse and there is something perfectly wonderful about
this moment and place that Laszlo Tar knew was special.
