About this Work of Art ~
"Solo"
was created in 1970 by Laszlo Tar. What a great piece. Sitting
somewhere in Washington Square Park, New York City, this musician
sings and plays his song to the world. Is anybody listening? It
may not have mattered to him at the time, but Laszlo Tar captured
his moment, so he can play on and on for all of us to enjoy forever.
The
original is an Oil Pastel drawing on
paper and the print captures the expressiveness of that
medium in perfect
detail.
The
print is an unframed Open Edition Giclée produced
on Eclipse (150lb / 300gsm), 100% cotton rag paper using fine
pigment inks. Each unframed print is pencil
signed and fully matted using thick 6-ply museum quality archival
smooth white matt with thick achival backing. The matted print
arrives
in a clear archival sleeve for easy handling and storage. The
matt is sized 11x14 inches and fits perfectly into an off-the-shelf
frame (as shown above). Each print is accompanied
by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
