"The
Quiet Place" is
a wonderful and painterly original oil painting created by Laszlo
Tar in 1959. The scene is a tranquel lakeside setting in historic
Branch Brook Park, in New Jersey. In 1956, Laszlo Tar arrived in
Camp Kilmer, New Jersey after escaping with his family from Hungary
during the revolt against Communism. This piece is one of his first
upon arrival to the United States. A lovely and peaceful work of
art! As
with all
of his works,
Laszlo
Tar completed
this fine piece
on
location.
The
print is a Giclée produced
on Eclipse (150lb), 100% cotton rag paper using fine pigment
inks. Just
90 signed and numbered prints (and 10 Artist Proofs)
