About this Work of Art ~
"Gondola
Traghetti" is a colorful print of a very painterly
original watercolor depicting the Grand Canal of Venice, Italy.
The work shows a northeast view from the south side of the Grand
Canal, just east of the rail station. The building across the canal
and to the right is "Palazzo Labia a San Geremia". Laszlo
Tar traveled to Venice twice -- once in 1977 and again in 1995.
He loved the colorful architecture and canals of Venice. As with
all of his works, the artist completed this piece on location. This
original was completed in 1977. For anyone who has visited Venice,
this fine print will surely have special meaning.
The print is a Giclée produced
