"The
Harbor"
was created by Laszlo Tar in 1995. This work features a tranquil
harbor setting in Huntington Long Island.
The cool
green grass on the beach is wonderfully offset by the light brown
sand,
while
the
sky has
a
dubious purple haze with a lonely seagull en route. The boats
rest in the harbor while a few persons enjoy the view from the
dock.
The setting is Long Island's Huntington Harbor, near Gold Star
Beach on West Shore Drive, and as with all of his works this
piece was completed on location.
The
print is an Offset
Lithograph produced
on 100% cotton rag paper. Only 190 signed and numbered prints
(and 10 Artist Proofs) exist of this beautiful
work of
