About this Work of Art ~
"Caumsett
Park"
was created in 1999 by Laszlo Tar, and reflects the truly beautiful
view that exists in Caumsett
State Historical Park, in Huntington. The spot is near the mansion,
overlooking the Long Island Sound. It is a late Spring day and
the lime green grass and trees set against the crisp blue waters
of the sound, with sailboats in the distance and people at play
in
the
fore,
make
for a perfectly
memorable setting. Mr. Tar loved painting the northern shores
of Long Island's "Gold Coast",
and
this special
spot in particular.
The freshness of this work is really wonderful and very painterly.
Enjoy this very special masterpiece!
