On this day the row boats are parked and the stars and
stripes are flying high in front of the colorful 5th
Avenue, New York City skyline. The Boathouse is a warm
welcome to the many visitors to Central Park. Its distinctive
copper roof with green patina and canopied
glass enclosures offer a sense of
elegance as it gently embraces the Lake.
It is easy to lose
oneself in this magical place and
truly forget you are still in the City.
