"Window
View"
was created in 1960 and depicts a view as seen from the artists
apartment window, in uptown Manhattan. This lovely winter scene
captures a city setting masterfully. Laszlo Tar moved to uptown
Manhattan with his family shortly after entering the United States.
As is evident throughout this gallery, he would travel throughout
the city to paint the many contrasting and beautiful views. On
this day, he decided to paint the view right outside his front
window.
