About this Work of Art ~
"Hoboken
View"
was created in 1962 by Laszlo Tar, and depicts a beautiful
view of the New York City skyline from Hoboken, New Jersey.
Mr. Tar loved to paint and draw throughout
New
York
City.
He would travel by foot or public transportation to find unique
scenes. On this day, he took the Path train to Hoboken, New Jersey
and found this colorful and now nostalgic setting. These waterfronts
are no longer as they were. Many have been replaced by residential
parks. A truly priceless piece!
